LOS ANGELES - Club Jenna is set to release Sophia Syndrome, their first title showcasing exclusive Club Jenna girl, Sophia Rossi. Rossi is highlighted in the title, alongside Club Jenna owner and AVN Hall of Famer, Jenna Jameson, Eva Angelina, Sascha, Melissa Lauren, Jan Val Jean, Tommy Gunn and John West.

Rossi signed with Club Jenna in March of '05, and told AVN.com that she's ecstatic about her first feature. "I can't express enough about how happy I am with Sophia Syndrome," said the blonde starlet. "It's the most orgasms I've ever had.

"I've had my website [www.sophiarossi.com] up and running since January, and some of my members have been getting a little impatient for my first title...I'm glad I'm able to finally give them what they want."

Howard Levine, national sales manager for Vivid Entertainment Group, told AVN.com that Rossi truly shines in her first movie for the production company. "Sophia does an incredibly hot girl/girl scene with Jenna Jameson," said Levine.

"Sophia is truly in the tradition of Pam Anderson...she's a blonde bombshell, in every definition."

Rossi, who travels to Porn Valley from her home in Arizona once or twice a month, said that the fact that she had known Jameson personally before doing her first scene, made the girl/girl tryst much more comfortable. "The chemistry between us was that much better because Jenna is a friend of mine, and that was good, because it was the very first scene I'd ever shot.

"It turned out to be one of the most explosive scenes you'll ever see."

Rossi's second scene ever was also her first boy/girl scene, this time with male performer Jan Val Jean. "Sophia's first boy/girl scene with Jan Val Jean smokes," said Levine. "The title has some really great male performers in it."

Levine added that the release, helmed by industry veteran Laurent Sky, also benefits from great direction. "Laurent is a critically acclaimed director and he did a great job with this one," said Levine.

Rossi said that her experience with Sky was fantastic. "He's just a great director," said Rossi. "He's insightful and creative and passionate."

Rossi went on to say that she couldn't see herself with any other company than Club Jenna. "I can't bow down enough to Jenna [Jameson], and the fact that she's lead the way for how women can portray themselves [in adult entertainment]. She's really shown that a woman can be both sexual and powerful at the same time...that I can be sexy without disrespecting myself."

As for the future, Rossi told AVN.com that she just finished shooting another feature in Los Angeles. "I was in Los Angeles for forty eight hours and I shot for thirty of those," she said. "I'm very dedicated to making a scene perfect and real...so that the chemistry is just right. I want to make something that I'm proud of, so I take a lot of time choosing my partners." Rossi said she will also shoot another title next week, tentatively titled, Sophia Loves Pain.

Rossi said that when she's not shooting, she'll be dedicated to making the best website possible. "I always try to take the time to talk my fans, one on one. I'm very grateful to be with Club Jenna and Playboy, and to have the adoration of all these great fans."

Sophia Syndrome will be the first title released since Club Jenna was acquired by Playboy Enterprises at the end of June. The title will be distributed by Vivid Video and ships today, with an August 19 street date.

LOS ANGELES - Roxy Jezel was crowned "Jenna's American Sex Star," emerging the winner of an exclusive contract with Club Jenna, Inc. on Friday in the live, season-two finale on Playboy TV.

The starlet earned the title over a field of finalists that included Tory Lane, Daisy Marie and Jenna Presley.

"I'm really happy about winning. It's taken a while to sink in. I was more in shock on Friday. I'm absolutely ecstatic," Jezel said Monday.

She said what may have separated her from the other finalists was that, "I've got an English accent and I'm half Thai. I can bring something new to the Club Jenna Girls. I can be the hot Asian-looking girl, not just another blonde or brunette."

Jezel joins Brea Bennett as two starlets who have won the reality show that allows the fans to vote for their favorite star. Going into the finals, Jezel, the 24-year-old native of East London said "this is my natural progression. I want to be the next Club Jenna Girl."

The Club Jenna contract girl lineup also includes reigning AVN Best New Starlet McKenzie Lee, Jesse Capelli, Ashton Moore and Sophia Rossi.

The panel of judges for the weekly show hosted by Jenna Jameson was made up of "Survivor" winner Jenna Lewis, AVN Hall of Fame director Jim Powers and Club Jenna CEO Jay Grdina, who is also Jameson's husband.

DCypher Joins Club Jenna

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Writer/director DCypher signed an exclusive, two-year contract with Club Jenna Friday night calling for him to helm one feature per month during that time, with an option to extend the contract for a third year.

Still trying to absorb the magnitude of the deal over a diner brunch Sunday afternoon, Cypher commented, "I don't think it's fully settled in yet, completely what this means. We talked about it for a long time, but to see it come to fruition is just, like, 'Holy shit, I just signed with Club Jenna?!'"

As to how precisely the deal came to pass, Cypher related, "Jay [Grdina, president of ClubJenna] had been in town doing meetings with Playboy, since we're owned by Playboy, and I got a call from his assistant, Linda Johnson, telling me [they] were ready to meet - we've been talking about a contract for a little while at this point, and we had hammered out our own details of what we wanted to do, but due to the acquisition by Playboy, we needed to just make sure everything was aligned properly still, and that we were still on the same page.

"Linda said, 'We really want you as part of this family, we don't want to lose you, so let's get this done and wrap up our business.' And I went down to Beverly Hills and met Jay, and it's funny, Jay and I have always gotten along, we've always been friends, we always had kind of the same sense of retarded humor; we saw each other, we hung out for probably an hour before we even started talking about work. The contracts were there, we all knew what we wanted to do ... we just sat and got into it, 'cause that's the kind of vibe that they have. And then we went over it and signed the thing in like five seconds. We were both happy, because we worked out the details of what I will and won't do, what my responsibilities are and how it's all going to operate. But it was more like two good friends hanging out."

DCypher has already shot his first title for Club Jenna, Fever Dream, doing so while pushing forward with his contract negotiations last month. "I knew I was gonna shoot a show with Club Jenna," he explained, "because we'd talked about it, they had always been interested in working with me. Even before I signed with Metro [where he recently ended a one-year contract], they were interested in working with me, and had expressed that, so they were actually bummed that I had signed, because it took me away from something they were trying to do. But ultimately, they were glad, because it gave me the opportunity to kind of grow and explore things before I stepped up to that level."

The artist told AVN.com that being with Club Jenna will allow him to fulfill the aspirations he's always had in pornmaking, but not fully realized up to this point. "I'm finally able, due to where I'm at now, to take my narrative, to take a story porn that's a real story, that's not just a clumsy re-creation of something or a loose string of a storyline that props up five completely non sequitur sex scenes, [and] coalesce the story with that wall-to-wall visual style that you see from great directors like Andrew Blake or Laurent Sky or Celeste," he said. "A perfect marriage of the two, in my opinion, that would be my favorite style of movie to watch. It seems like one always suffers, and I guess that's my goal, to try to create a more perfect marriage of those two."

It would seem that for DCypher, a nearing-10-year industry veteran, this deal signifies his official arrival as a major name. "For me, for a story porn director, it is the top, it's the best thing that could happen to me," he agreed. "And it's very exciting. There's no other company I would want to be signed to. This is like a fuckin' dream. I've found my family, and now I'm home."

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Jenna Jameson has signed a licensing agreement with novelty gift market leader, International Company of Unique Products (ICUP, Inc.) to produce a line of edgy T-shirts and novelty items. The announcement was made today by Jay Grdina, president of Club Jenna, Inc.

One of the new T-shirts, in bright pink with black piping, features the graphic"I [heart] Girls," with a picture in the heart of Jameson cuddling with top adult star Briana Banks.

Among the novelty items is a parlor game, in which players match cards with sexy photos of the Club Jenna Girls, called "Nice Pair." There is also the Money Shot Recipe Shooter with a 3D replica of Jenna in a pole-dance pose. The packaging includes eight drink recipes. A set of pint glasses depicts the Club Jenna Girls and recipes for drinks named after their movies, such as The Provocateur.

"By partnering with Jenna we're getting hot and heavy with the biggest name in the adult industry," said ICUP's Steve Trachtenberg. "We've already received commitments from Spencer Gifts for the Jenna T-shirts and there is heavy interest for the full line, which includes barware and other products."

"These guys have an awesome ability to create what the marketplace really wants and we great think they are on the right track for a huge success," said Kris Grdina, vice president for merchandising of Club Jenna, Inc., the company that granted the license to ICUP.
