peró a quanto pare era uno scherzo ideato dal solito ineffabile riccardo schicchi, e smascherato da una ex pornostar di nome debora che lavorava per lui!!!!

What a long story this is. Someone had mentioned Draghixa was dead. Soon thereafter, we got this e-mail:
Y.M. Fried of Private passes this along: "Sorry to inform you that the French-Rumanian actress known as Draghixa has passed away. It happened on September 2000 and was caused by an overdose of sleeping pills and alcohol. Yours YMF"
Soon we got a lot of e-mail (more than for any other dead porn star) from people swearing up and down she wasn't dead but with no proof; and others very sad at the news of her passing.
Finally, we got this e-mail and had an exchange with Debora who works for a men's magazine. She explains the rumor thusly:

Oh God, because it's my ex-boss, Riccardo Schicchi (Cicciolina's creator) who invented this rumor as a joke to a magazine director (www.videoimpulse.com). The name of the guy is Fabrizio Zanoni: contact him on his web site forum. Because of the joke, Fabrizio published the sad news on his magazine and after that it spread from magazine to magazine till Private. I don't know where you are, but in Europe everyone laugh for this funny story, but Draghixa of course. You can't get new pictures of her because she doesn't work anymore but a lot of people still meet her at parties in discos in Paris. Believe me.
The funny thing is that my ex boss and I spent a whole afternoon deciding the most resonable way to make her die!
