E' una delle mie canzoni preferite di Bowie, ed una delle poche il cui testo colpisca veramente.
Ho sempre amato il Duca Bianco, ma so che in tutti questi anni mi sono consapevolmente lasciato prendere in giro da un grande attore.
Lui è stato nello spazio al momento giusto, ha ucciso Ziggy prima di diventarne schiavo, poteva essere re ("e tu, tu sarai la Regina..") quando Berlino era Berlino, poi ha deciso che Major Tom fosse solo un junkie, e pochi anni fa ha scoperto di essere "afraid of americans"...che adorabile figlio di puttana!

Bene, chissà perchè mi è venuto in mente Federico Fiumani.
E mio fratello, che tanti anni fa -per consolarmi di un dolore- mi ha lasciato nel portafogli un biglietto con una frase del testo di questa meravigliosa canzone.
Mi sarebbe piaciuto postare la versione cantata da Federico, ma tant'è.
